Use Your Mind, Change Your Life

You can feel down.
You can feel out.
You can feel like nothing is working the way you want it to.
It can seem like you’re in a daze or a dense fog.
You can think things aren’t making sense.
It can seem your goals are out of reach.
It can seem like you’re in a loop or a cycle.
You can have thoughts like: I don’t have what it takes; there’s just no way.

And guess what?

Life is still going to go on. Things are going to keep moving. You are going to keep breathing. You will keep waking up.

Life might go on with you in a mood.
Things might keep moving with you a little bitter. Resentful. Irritated. Angry.
You may keep breathing with some sadness. Depression. Anxiety. Discontent.
You might wake up and choose to stay in bed all day.

Basically: You may choose to live in resistance to life, but life does not care. It all keeps moving, anyway.

So what is there to do? Your “attitude” IS your experience, and it seems like you’re stuck in this rut of a space. It feels like life’s going on with you. No matter how much you know intellectually, it seems the embodiment of all you know just isn’t coming through. Your experience of life is suffering, and you don’t see a way out.

I hear it more than anything else:
I know I am my own problem!
I know it’s me in my own way.
I know it’s just my thinking.
I just need to get over it.
I just need to change my mindset about it.

But then nothing happens. Except time. Time happens. And things seem to get either slightly better or worse… only because conditions shift one way or the other (as time will do.)

What about when you want to transcend time?
What about when you want to transcend conditions?
What about when you’re the person who says I WILL NOT suffer my way through life.
I WILL NOT live less than who I know I am.
I WILL NOT be miserable.
I WILL NOT, NOT, hit my goals and show up for my self, my mission, my world.

What about when you’re that person? What’s there to do?

Let me tell you…

It’s to put in the work.

It’s to put in the practice every single day of training yourself to use your mind in a different way. To shift it from old, disempowering ways of thinking to new, powerful ways of thinking. To shift it from ways that didn’t work to ways that do work. To shift it from an outward focus for answers to an inward focus for the solution. To shift it from waiting to doing. To shift it from needing to having. To shift it from separation to connection.

Talk about peace. Talk abundance. Talk about freedom…

When it feels like things are ending, they are not.
When it feels like it’s the “end of the road”, it is not.
When it feels like you’re about to lose your mind, remember there is no where for your mind to go.

There are plenty of things out of your control.
The one thing that is not out of your control? Your relationship to your mind. It's begging for a change. You're begging for a change. It's time for change. Lasting change. Real change. Don't-recognize-the-old-you change.

But will you show up for the work? This rocket's not going anywhere without YOU. 🚀
